The Iris Project - Sharing Hope and Awareness

The Iris Project helps spread hope and awareness to people living with a mental health condition, family members and our community. Volunteers distribute silk irises for a small suggested donation.  Free information about mental health and our local programs is also available. Proceeds help fund NAMI Northern Virginia’s programs of education, support, advocacy—and HOPE!

Who is the Iris Project For?

The Iris Project can be carried out by students, clubs, faith communities, civic groups--anyone who wants to help make a difference.  We work closely with you to provide everything you need for a successful event!
