NAMI Connection (Peer) Support Groups
NAMI Northern Virginia offers Peer Support Groups for adults (age 18+) living with mental health conditions (NOTE: During the COVID-19 public health crisis, we are having virtual support groups online, using the video-conference service Zoom; see below for more). Our support groups are free and no registration is required for you to attend. These peer support groups provide a safe, judgement free, and confidential environment for attendees to share their stories, learn from one another, and offer and receive support from others with similar lived experiences. NAMI Connection Support Groups are designed for individuals who experience symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health conditions.
Please contact the support group facilitator before attending a group to confirm the meeting time and location. |
