Our Impact
Amy's Story

"When I was in the hospital and a partial hospitalization program, I heard speakers from your “In Our Own Voice” program. As hopeless as I felt at that time, it moved me to hear from people who are in recovery and have learned how to cope with their illness.
Over the summer I participated in one of your “Peer-to-Peer” classes. I was inspired by my peer leaders who helped me to believe again that it’s possible to live a full and meaningful life while having a mental health diagnosis. I know that raising awareness about mental health can be an uphill battle, but I want you to know that to one person, to me, your organization has made a tremendous difference."
