                              NAMI Ending the Silence

Ending the Silence provides stories of hope and help to teens (ages 13-18), families, and school staff. An individual or a family member of an individual with a mental health condition shares warning signs, resources, and what to do to get someone the help they need. A young adult then shares a powerful story of their experience with a mental health condition. To request a presentation for your school or community group, email msouza@nami-nova.org. To become a presenter (age 18+) download this application and email the completed form to us. Training is provided for free.

NAMI Peer-to-Peer
NAMI Peer-to-Peer for Young Adults is a recovery learning and support class for young adults (18-32) living with a mental health condition (diagnosis not required).  Classes are led by two NAMI-trained young adults who are living well with a mental health condition. Click here for information on upcoming classes.

Formed Families Forward Stronger Together Support Group is a youth and young adult group designed for teens and young adults who have lived experiences in one or more service systems such as: social services (foster care, child welfare, family services), special education (learning or emotional disability or other condition), mental health services, and substance use treatment/recovery.
