NAMI Young Adult Peer-to-Peer
NAMI Young Adult Peer-to-Peer is a free 10-session educational program for adults living with a mental health condition who are looking to better understand their condition and journey toward recovery. NAMI Young Adult Peer-to-Peer targets a younger audience than NAMI Peer-to-Peer (ages 18-36). Taught by NAMI-trained volunteers who have lived experience with a mental health condition, this class includes activities, discussion, and informative videos. However, as with all NAMI programs, it does not include recommendations for treatment approaches.

COVID-19 Update: Classes and Presentations Canceled Until Further NoticeNAMI Northern Virginia's work to provide education to our community will continue during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because we are not permitted to have in-person classes or presentations at this time, we are currently looking into virtual alternatives for this spring. |
